Fun day!

Today started of normally. Laura brought down both of her pillows & "nights" and Zachary immediately stole  one of the pillows for himself. Lucky for him, Laura was awake enough to feel like sharing.

The summer is rapidly coming to an end and I haven't done half of what I wanted to do with the kiddos. I've been meaning to try out the DIY Sidewalk Chalk Paint from Pinterest and it was a big success! Easy clean up and not real messy at all! You can find the recipe on my Kiddos Stuff board. I recommend this to anyone who wants a fun activity with the kids, but not a whole lot of mess.Mitchell immediately drew a Green Lantern blaster gun type thing. It's that green & pink blob between him & the paint.

Z hung out in the garage in the exersaucer when he wasn't napping. Laura had lots of fun just painting both the driveway and
Herself as you can see. The feet actually stayed a nice teal color for awhile. The only thing that stayed "dirty"
TA-DA!! Look at all I've drawn!!
Juice Box break. Laura loves her juice boxes. I wish you could hear how she says it. She's very precise in her pronunciation.

As the Mom of Mitchell I have learned how to draw many superhero symbols. Most are okay, but some really need some work. My best is the Batman symbol, but this time it was pathetic! :) Clockwise: Hero Factory symbol, Captain America, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman (with a Laura smudge).
To clean off Laura I brought out the water table and that is where the kiddos had a short contest Spitting the balls into the round-about. Well, Mitchell did. Laura wasn't tall enough.
Mitchell likes having his hair all spiked up right now. He wouldn't play at first, but when I told him I could spike his hair for him if he played, he was all about it.
We even let Batgirl & Wonder Woman beat the heat in the Ferris Wheel.
When we came inside, I made a tunnel for Mitchell's train. Another Pinterest thing. They had more fun coloring it than actually playing with it.
Then Roo-Roo woke up from his nap, smiling of course, and it was time for lunch.
And now I'm tired & ready for my own nap!
