Today we just hung around the house and Mommy did some laundry. Fun times at our house. I decided to play the "Bozo the Clown Grand Prize Game" with Mitchell in our formal living area and formal dining room that has exactly one couch and a kiddie table for Mitchell to sit at when I scrap since part of the dining area is actually my scrap area. But we hit a snag at the beginning. Did you know that there are no videos of the "Bozo the Clown Grand Prize Game" on youtube? I tried to find them and couldn't! What I did find were videos guaranteed to make Mitchell afraid of clowns, so we abandoned that idea pretty quickly. The game deteriorated pretty quickly since Mitchell wouldn't stand behind the line and preferred me throwing the ball at the last basket while he held it high. Oh well.. Then he figured out that he could put two of the baskets together and make an egg for himself which turned into Mitchell acting out one of his favorite books right now- "The Very Hungry Catepillar" by Eric Carle. So I got a video. Please excuse my wonderful man voice.
Then after lunch we went outside and swung on the swing set with Big Buzz Lightyear watching from Mitchell's "Tigger pole" named that since it's actually a pogo stick. And of course we had to see what the OCD dachshund was having fun digging at. Looked like dirt and nothing special. Then Mommy dragged out the splash mat and he had fun flooding part of our backyard. It started out with these big fountains with a bigger fountain in the middle but then Mitchell jumped in the middle of it and it broke. It's really made for a toddler to sit in and splash. Oh well. He had fun jumping in and making a big mess. Until it was time to turn off the water and then he wasn't so happy. But an ice cream break was in store which allowed Mommy to stop BOTH waterworks. Even Molly got some ice cream! And now Mitchell is crashed out in his playroom with Big Buzz Lightyear right next to him. Poor kid was worn out!
