Pumpkin Patch

Since today was Mom's birthday and it was a monday. We decided to start the day out at one of the few pumpkin patches near our house. Mitchell had tons of fun running around and jumping in the bounce house. We did forget that her birthday is always around Columbus Day and that means school's out! Which also means lots of people at the pumpkin patch. We will not repeat the same mistake. Put a bunch of people and an almost two-year-old and you have a stressed mommy who can't take pictures and a child only interested in running around places where there aren't a bunch of people. Mitchell did surprise us by insisting on going on his first hayride. We thought he wouldn't like it because he didn't like the hay, but once he say the big tractor hauling the hay, he wanted to ride!!

Mitchell's got the "cool guy" look down! One hand on the wheel and do your best to look like you have everything under control!

Mitchell was so excited to see Mickey Mouse. I have no clue why because he's never really seen much of the mouse. Go figure.

What a big boy!
Elmo!! or Cookie Monster to everyone else on the planet.
Look Mommy! An Apple! (or at least according to Mitchell it was a field of apples.)

This pumpkin was apparently in Mitchell's way
In the Bounce house!
Mommy and Mitchell on the hayride.
LOOK AT ME MOMMY!!!
Crawling on his tummy over the pumpkins. Mitchell started a trend because lots of other kids started doing the same thing!

Below are two videos I also took at the pumpkin patch that wouldn't fit on this post.

Okay--after way too much time at the computer, I finally caught up on your blog. It was fun to watch Mitchell grow up before we met you guys. Now I have it favorited and can check it without being overwhelmed. I can't believe you never told me you had a blog...
