Carnival!!!

Tonight was the Fall Carnival at Mitchell's preschool. We were there for most of the time and both kids had a blast. However, this is where I make a note to myself that bringing the BIG stroller is a mistake even if it carries more than the umbrella stroller. We can carry our own drinks or just forgo drinking all together. It's better for everyone and unsuspecting ankles.

They had a couple of bounce houses, face painting, cookie walk, basically your usual carnival stuff. We feasted like kings on hot dogs, watered-down lemonade and popcorn. Mommy even had a sno-cone because Zachary was craving one. ;) Laura's favorite part was being allowed out of the stroller while Daddy and Mitchell had a blast at the Velcro Wall. At first I thought it was one guy throwing the kids onto the wall, but Daddy informed me it was HIS job to throw Mitchell. He was very excited. It's too bad I really didn't get a picture of the first throw because of dark lighting, but I did get most of the second throw.

Finally made it down with Daddy there to catch him if needed.
Just before we left I took Laura to get her hair painted purple because my Son refuses to get his hair painted. Laura was a little confused as to why a strange lady was holding her with Mommy right there, but I think she wears the purple well.
